Continuation of Peak Performance. Picard averts a genocide only to find out that the Klingons are building a weapon of awesome power, loosely based on the Xindi weapon. Enterprise must stop that weapon before it launches, at any cost. Eddington’s genocidal weapon is re-worked into something manageable for ship-to-ship action. A Romulan fleet wipes ou the Klingons armada, responding to Bochra’s signal to be “picked up” They take the planet killer with them, which is now missing several crucial components.
